i2Brain: End User License Agreement
When you buy a license to use "i2Brain Standard Edition" you may install the software on a maximum of ONE desktop computer and ONE portable computer. Both of these computers should be used and/or owned by the same person or organization and the two installations of i2Brain may not be used by different people at the same time.
All copyrights to the software are exclusively owned by i2Brain, John Boyd-Rainey. You may not use, copy, clone, sell, modify, distribute, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or transfer the software, or any portion of it, except as provided for in this agreement. Any unauthorized use of the software will result in criminal and civil prosecution. All rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved by the author. The demo-version of the software may be freely distributed provided that the distribution package is not modified in any way.
The copyright owner and author of the software disclaim all warranties, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to the software or documentation. In no event will the author or copyright owner be liable for any damages whatsoever (including without limitation to damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information and the like) arising out of the use or the inability to use this product.
Installing and using this software signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with the terms of this license, you must cease to use the product and remove the files immediately.
Refunds will be given at the discretion of the management. We don't want disgruntled customers, so if you are unhappy with the software, please let us know and we'll sort something out.
Our agreements with credit card processors prevent us from issuing refunds as a cheque or in cash. A refund can only be issued to the original credit card. Due to the time for refunds to be processed, please allow at least 30 days for the credit to appear on your next credit card statement.
If any of these clauses are invalid, the whole of this agreement is not invalidated. Instead of the invalid clause, it should be replaced by one which accords with the intentions of the producer of i2Brain and which is valid.
