Using FaveNet

Assuming the installation worked correctly you can try FaveNet out straight away: the "Bookmark" menu in Firefox now contains the word "FaveNet". Please click it.

i2Brain starts up.

Either it automatically opens the project "favenet.i2b" or
the wizard appears to ask you in which project you want to store your new bookmark. Please choose the project you want.

A new item appears in the newly opened project - at the top left of each open viewer. The name of the new item is taken fromthe title of the website being shown in Firefox, and the aspect "URL" contains its URL.

Displaying a FaveNet icon in Firefox (optional)

In Firefox' menu, click View, Toolbars, Customize.

This dialog appears:

You will probably have to scroll down to find the FaveNet icon.

Drag the icon onto Firefox' toolbar and drop it there. (The graphic here shows the mouse to be in "drag mode" between the "Reload" and "Stop" buttons.)

After releasing the left mouse key, you should see the FaveNet icon there.

This button has the same function as the word "FaveNet" in the Bookmark menu.
