Directly above the description panel you might see a list of buttons showing graphics something like this:

(You determine whether this toolbar appears using "Graphical Options" and "Options".)

This toolbar allows you to insert clip-arts into your project quickly and easily. (Mac OS forbids buttons from being decorated like this, so this function is not available there.)

Use

Click on one of the buttons in the toolbar. The cursor changes shape.
Move the mouse onto the view and click on the background where the new element should appear.

You might want to adjust its size.

You can determine which clip-arts appear here. Simply store your own graphic files (JPG, PNG or GIF) in the directory "i2brain/clipart". (Note that there are two directories with this name. Use the one where your data is stored, not where the program was installed. That means under Windows use the one under ""Documents" not under "Programs". On Linux use the directory under "/home/username/i2brain" and not  under "/opt/i2brain".)

Next time you start i2Brain these icons will appear in this toolbar assuming you have set the "options" to do so.
